Description:
This wine has a crystalline Intense Ruby Red color, with a savory and captivating aroma typical of the Grape generous and ruffian from Merlot Grapes in Purity , with a body and structure important for both elegance and
strength , a proper elegant tannins and never invasive to the palate .
Vinification:
The grapes are harvested in late September at a good stage of ripeness , late , to get the best from the berry , Vinified in steel at a controlled temperature with the use of particular extracting and aromatic yeasts able to enhance the peculiarity’ of the grape . The cleaning of the wine from heavy lees is then followed by a frequent and delicate reassembly to keep in suspension the
finest lees capable of giving stability and elegance.
Area of production:
The grapes are selected from our vineyards south of Lake Garda mainly in the municipality of Sona .
Soil : White clay soil but with coarse texture of hill permeable by PH Alkaline
Aging: The Merlot is aged in tanks and in wooden barrels , to promote the “smoothing” of the rougher tannins , although scarce in this vine , and then 6 months in the bottle before being put on sale . The strong wine
of its own structure lends itself to aging for periods even longer than 5 years without suffering from time but increasing its complexity.
Available format :Bottles of 0.75 boxes of 6 Bordolese Bottles heavy truncated cone of 550 grams bottles placed vertically in boxes . Cap Satin natural .

Organoleptic notes

Aspetto Ruby red appearance of medium intensity tending to garnet with aging.
Olfatto Vinous nose, with a pleasant, delicate and characteristic aroma, which sometimes reminds bitter almonds.
Palato
dry or velvety, full-bodied, bitterish, sapid, harmonious.

Pairings: It goes well with noble poultry such as guinea fowl, roast veal or pork, risotto with meat / legumes.
